First horror watch of 2025!
The score suited this movie perfectly, pairing it at exactly the right times to create more suspense. Pairing it with a fairly good good mixture of dialogue and acting, to create an "edge of your seat" viewing experience. A nice balance of creepily bad energy/vibes in the first half but sadly starts to dull down a bit as the movie moves on, a slightly lackluster experience towards the end makes it difficult to keep your concentration. Compared to a lot of other horror flicks, it does feel a bit more fresh as it doesn't just pound you with grotesque or horrifying scenes.
3.5/5
