Hilarious and heartfelt.

Eisenberg and Culkin are masterful in their respective roles. Culkin plays the carefree and soulful Benji but also perfectly shines a light on how even the most seemingly and happy person has their own struggles embedded deep inside that can be hidden behind a smile.

Eisenberg portrays David, the type of guy that keeps to himself and who doesn't think that the world needs to know about all of his issues. A person who has his own embedded issues but deals with it in a completely different way.

You can see and understand everyone's pain in this film and the impact of world events from previous times enormously has an impact on the audience. The movie packs an emotional punch but offsets it with just the right amount of comedy to keep you from falling deep down an emotional spiral.

Reaches the top 5 best movies released in 2024 and the best movie I've watched in 2025 to date.

4.5/5
